INTRODUCTION
Academic study can help us improve our English skills and achieve our goals to contribute to society.This achievements require us to work hard and improve our abilities to adapt to the society. Therefore, the essay aims at telling you the aims of academic study.It will then suggest some ways to achieve that .
BODY PART
Academic study, with the aims of developing personal growth, contributing to social development and gaining a higher-lever degree, is very important. Because when we do academic study, we pay our attention to it. We keep thinking over it , and then we try our best to do well in the study. After reading more books and referring to dictionaries , we find us gain a higher lever. Besides , the process of doing the study can broaden our horizons and expand our knowledge. So persist in doing it and we can improve ourselves in a long period. What’s more, doing academic study can help us learn academic skills , which can later lead to social development. Thus, it is very important for us to concentrate on academic study. In order to achieve that, we should try to work hard and improve our abilities to adapt to the society. That is to say, we should learn to study by ourselves and try to read some more books about academic study. Because such deeds can arouse our interest in it and make us better understand academic skills . Once we are interested in it , we keep doing the study and we may achieve our goals later. Besides , developing our social abilities is also useful. For example , develop ing our communication ability can help us adapt to group discussion. It will help us get rid of misunderstandings and get aware of the academic study. Through it , we can adapt to society better.

    Carnatic music is considered to be the sole classical music that binds the entire south of India together and its origin is believed to be from one of the four key Hindu scriptures in India, Sama Veda. While most people attribute the word Carnatic to the state of Karnataka and consider it to be the birth place of Carnatic Music, other musicologists differ and say that the word ‘Carnatic’ is deemed as anything that is soothing to the ears as ‘Karna’ translates to ear in Sanskrit.1 Carnatic music consists of mainly four important components or elements which are (1) Shruti which is known as pitch and (2) Swara a single musical sound or note and Carnatic music has seven swaras and these are given the name Saptaswara, the other element (3) Raga is a medley or combination of Swaras which are the basic building blocks of Carnatic music which is used to create a certain melody or tune, the last element of Carnatic music (4) Tala is the beat system or the periodical rhythm to which a song is set to in Carnatic music. Carnatic music which was mostly complied by the Brahmins and Kshatriyas of south India was known to be very personal and religious and was allowed to be made public only on the conditions that there was knowledge of music or the Hindu religion being imparted to others of the same social order.2 But in the current scenario where Carnatic music has gone through much evolution, it is used as a source of entertainment and has spectators from all over the world irrespective of caste, creed or colour.
