Introduction:
This report is a major assessment task for ACBE100, a unit that is part of the Diploma courses at SIBT, semester 2, 2012. The general topic assign to our group is ‘How can we assist the most disadvantaged groups in our community?’ Each member in our team is responsible for a different aspect of the general topic. My specific aspect is about assisting the elderly in our community. The microeconomic principal I will apply is productive efficiency. In the report, I will first include a brief background of elderly group. Next I will be reviewing the current and future possible policies that the government supports elderly in Australia such as financial support, health care, housing support and etc. After I will mention the action community is taking. Follow by some recommendation. Finally, I will draw a conclusion with some personal opinion.
