I see a subway train, a boy and a cat. These images may be connected to the story because the boy works at the lost and found underground in a subway station, the boy is the boy who works at the lost and found and the cat is the cat that the man killed. 4. The title of the novel is Acceleration. What does it mean to accelerate? How do you think this connects to the story?
Accelerate means to speed up. Accelerate could be referring to the train or it could be referring to his increase of emotions. 5. Flip through the novel a) What do you notice about the format or structure of the novel?
