ACCOUNTABLE LEADERSHIP
By Paul Chaffee
“Afterword” Review
“ Then Jesus told his disciples, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.” (Matthew 16:24-25 ESV) Contrasted with Mr. Chaffee’s words, “Reflecting on your internal frame of reference and its influence on your behavior, in other words, may considerably improve your effectiveness.” Nowhere in this book on “Accountable Leadership” did Mr. Chaffee reference any of the three Pastoral epistles of Paul; (i.e. 1 Timothy, 2 Timothy and Titus). I see no reason to disregard the bible and instead turn to the twisted ideas and opinions of one man. In business, the idea is to reach as broad a market as possible. My favorite verses in the bible are “Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. For the gate is narrow and the way is
