Action Buddies Movie Analysis
On an airport runway, a worker loads luggage into the cargo hold of a parked plane. He grabs a cardboard box, looks at it for a second with some confusion, shrugs and tosses it into the plane. He closes up the cargo latch and the plane moves for take off.
We see from inside the box, the baby Bears. They’re cramped inside the box. Panda asks how long they’ll have to stay in here. Grizz holds up and starts looking through a Sweden-tourism book. Grizz (while looking in book): “It’s gonna be a long flight to Sweden guys.” We see the page he’s looking at. It has a picture of Swedish Pancakes. Grizz: “But it’s going to be worth it!” The Bears stare at the book and starts salivating.

He climbs in and gets comfortable. Grizz enjoys the perks of first class, including in-flight movies on a little screen in front of him. Grizz: “Whoa! Some of these are still in theaters!” He browses the movies and decides on the brand new film Action Buddies. The movie has a dramatic title sequence. We see footage of the star of the film doing action stuff (jumping from helicopter, leaping onto buildings, etc.) A credit rolls: “Starring Todd Eagle.” A melodramatic voiceover about bravery narrates along with the opening scene of Todd Eagle running and jumping off ledges. Panda awkwardly moves around/over Beard Guy to get to his seat. Panda finally plops himself into the seat. He attempts to nap but then the baby next to him starts crying. Panda tries to shush the baby. Finally it stops but then the guy on the other side of him starts snoring really loud. The passenger in front of Panda keeps pushing the seat back, invading Panda’s space. Panda is miserable.
Ice Bear wanders up and down the other aisle looking for a seat. He sees one, but someone takes it. He sees another, but someone takes that one too. He looks around nervously. Another flight attendant taps Ice on the shoulder and asks if he was hoping to come see the cockpit. Ice looks around, and nods his head yes. Attendant takes Ice by the hand and leads him into cockpit.
They open the door to the cockpit, which frightens the younger copilot. Attendant leaves Ice there, saying he wanted to check out how the plane is operated. The pilot and a younger copilot greet Ice. They tell him to take a seat. Ice sits next to the
