What was the worst part of college? Rhetorical of course. Dr. Sandmann droning inexorably off his notes in an achingly relentless monotone in an unventilated room eight degrees above tolerable crammed with sweaty people who are convinced they are close to death. Unfortunately, technology has not solved this problem. If anything, the room is hotter with all the hardware humming along. In my experience, there are few things in academia or business worse than a presenter with a projector reading his bullet point text slides to me one after another. For example:

I quit forcing my undergraduates to present to our class since so many of them, 62.7 percent actually, would start hyperventilating and break out into a skin disorder by the mere thought that they would have to stand in front of a group of mostly strangers and say something of substance for a few minutes.
