The Treaty of Versailles left Germany crippled as a Military focused Country, taking away all or the majority of their Army, including their Air-force and Navy. To train for War was to break the peace made by the Treaty. Hitler felt the terms unjust, and convinced his Country and subjects that the true strength of Germany was incomprehensible to the rest of the World, as well as unmatched. And in reality, he was correct. Germany was underestimated by the World, because on paper and documentation, Hitler inherited a very weak military. This was not the case though, for German power was much greater than anyone realized. This notion of a possible comeback thrust Germany into a secret game of catch-up with the other military powers, this is known as, “Hitler’s Rearmament.”

Proof of these experimental weapons are spread throughout the world, with many being deactivated and used in museums.
Numerous military vehicles were designed, along with the means to combat opposing Military crafts and vehicles. For example, a super-heavy self-propelled gun tank known as the Landkreuzer P. 1500, weighing in at 1500 metric tons and equipped with 800mm guns. Or the Flettner Fl 184, a night-time recon and anti-submarine autogyro. Other devastating projects were being set in place as well, including the possibility of a German Nuclear weapons program.
