Being a teenager isn't easy especially when you have so much pressure put on you. Being in an AP class requires skipping a time in your life and acting as an adult. You are to think as an adult and act as an adult. That is why I must say it's a bit scary, maybe even terrifying, but it will all work out. I am a very good listener when it comes down to hearing everyone else's thoughts, opinions, and conversations. I take in all the words they speak to me and think about the stuff that person must be going through. I admit sometimes it isn't easy for me to speak out my thoughts but this past year has been a year where I learned to put that all my fears aside. Now I am very comfortable speaking out my thoughts and my ideas because everyday you think something different. My ability to think critically is surprising. I can honestly say that i am able to think deeply and analyze all sorts of things and come up with different points of views and arguments. This year I have learned to take the biggest challenges in life and embrace them. I get that being in an advanced placement class is rigorous and you have to be able to think on your feet. I know that being in this class will help me surpass my goal of being a great reader, writer, and person. My performance in the class will evaluate whether my long time dream of being and english teacher is doable. No matter what the outcomes may be I will not give up,I will not be vulnerable, and I will not let myself be looked down upon. I will be the best that i can be and I guarantee that i will put in my blood, sweat, and tears into this class. I do not only want to prove to my family or my teachers that i am a great candidate for any advanced class, but i also want to prove to myself that I am capable enough to be as great as I can
