Adversarial System Analysis
In the United States we have an Adversarial system. Meaning that we follow a method designed to seek justice and ensure truth. This includes following the amendments that correspond with said process. Such as the Fourth amendment, which says, there shall not be illegal searches and seizures. The fifth amendment which states, that we have the right to not self-incriminate along with due process. The sixth amendment which states, that we have the right to a speedy trial by an impartial jury, in the state of which the crime was committed, the right to be informed of all accusations and charges, the right to attend trail and face accuser(s), the right to have counsel provided by the state if he or she cannot afford one, and the right to obtain
witnesses in his or her favor. The eighth amendment declares, there shall not be excessive bail nor cruel and unusual punishment.
