First, everyone should have a chance to get education. But people in can't because they are more focused on surviving. You never know if someone could discover something great that could help everyone but since they can’t afford school, they won’t be able to. Additionally, people in poverty should have affordable housing.Without housing, people’s lives are cut shorter than someone who has housing and food.According to the World Health Organization, a kid who grows up in poverty, with no housing is expected to live about 28 years shorter than another kid who grows up with housing and privileges.
Currently in the U.S, out of every 100 households about only 29 are both available AND affordable. And 1 in every 4 families who are in poverty get housing assistance. That’s about 25 families out of 100. Lastly, there should have government assistance for poverty. The government should be more supportive to these people because they are suffering. The government should help people in poverty because it gives them a real chance at earning a brighter future for them. (financial reasons) According to www.cbpp.org it states that most states have beniefit cuts after irrespective of whether they are searching diligently for a job. Because this provision denies basic food assistance to people who wants to work.
