After the Way Called Heresy Book Review
Throughout the line of church history, Oneness doctrine has suffered persecution,
Condemnation, and expulsion. Many believe that the dogma of the Trinity has been the True doctrine of the early church, but the truth is that since the birth of the church which in the Book of Acts. The Mighty God in Christ doctrine is in fact the doctrine of the early church. This Movement did not die out in the third and fourth centuries, but has continued to grow and now is One of the fastest growing Movements in the twentieth century. This book gives amazing Documented proof of the Oneness believer in every century. The purposed of this paper is to show The line of Oneness believers throughout church history.
Chapter 1
In chapter one we find the foundation of the whole book, in this chapter we discover the two main philosophical bases that have been in use through the history of mankind. Plato emphasis was (man should live by changeless ideals and align himself with himself. The second is Aristotle, he had a way of thinking which a humanistic approach was. Weisser explains that the church went from an Oneness view to a humanistic (Trinitarian) way of thinking. In closing the chapter Weisser starts to validate the deity of Jesus Christ by scripture quoting Isa. 7:14, Mt. 1:23, Isa. 9:6, Isa. 4:3, Luke 1:34,35, and Isa. 45:21,22, in fact during the first and second centuries, ( post-apostolic-age), believers where Oneness in doctrine.
Chapter 2
Chapter two introduces us to a strong church, but with problems creeping in. Christianity and Roman religion began to be in conflict, because the emperor of Rome had so much power that he forced people to see him as a god, this was consider idol worship to the Christians, who only bow down to the only true living
