In today's world, the debate topic focused on standardized testing has become controversial to many. Standardized testing is a test designed for students to answer a certain amount of questions in the subject Math, English, and History. An example of a standardized test is Parcc or ACT/SAT. In most schools and institutes, they are tests designed to measure the knowledge a student has. Another reason is that whatever the average of the student's score is, the teacher’s teaching gets looked at. Although schools require standardized testing, it does not measure knowledge of a student and their performance. WHy should students have to sit in a desk for 2 or more hours and take a test that will stress them out and or give them anxiety? Why should students feel not as good about themselves when they score lower on the test then others. With this standardized testing should be revoked because not only is it unreliable way of measuring a student's
