As shown in figure 4, the results obtained from the investigation support and prove the hypothesis to be correct. In the hypothesis it was stated that if the surface area and volume of an agar cube were to decrease, the amount of colour left in the cube after resting in acid would also decrease, meaning that the smaller the agar cube, the less colour will remain it is and more of the cube will be clear.
This was shown in the results, with an average of 98.5% of the 1cm3 being clear after being in the acid for 10 minutes. Most of the individual results showed that 100% of the 1cm3 agar cube was clear after the 10 minutes, but other individual results weren’t 100% clear, meaning the average percent of clearness in the remaining cube was just

    From my results I can see that the accurate result was 0.98 and our estimated was 0.1M but I rounded up my answer to 1 decimal places to see so there was not that much of a difference. Overall my experiment went well because I have followed instruction and I archived my hypothesis because I calculate that the chemical will have more concentration because it is a hydrochloric acid which will react with a methyl orange indicator solution and cause colour change from yellow to pink in my experiment I could clearly see the change of the colour. Form my results table I can see that my results were close to 0.1M which means that I have used the accurate amount of standard solution in my experiment If I was to improve my experiment I could attempt to read the burette to the bottom or top of the meniscus by doing this it might give me accurate results for my experiment.     The first step is to calibrate the colorimeter with0.20 M Fe(NO3)3and set the absorbance at 470 nm since it is known to keep an acidic solution throughout the entirety of the experiment. It was important to do this right at the beginning of the lab since the zeroed value of the acid was the calibration number for all of the other solutions. A total of seven solutions with different dilutions were used throughout the lab to conduct the equilibrium constant. The first step was adding 5 mL of 0.200 M Fe(NO3)3to each of the 5 test tubes. Once this was done, 0.00200 M NCS was added to the test tubes, each receiving a different amount; test tube one received 1 mL NCS-and with each test tube the amount of NCS-would increase by 1 mL, test tube 5 received 5 mL of NCS. . The next step was adding HNO3 to each test tube in different volumes; Test tube one received 10 mL of HNO3 and with each test tube the amount of HNO3 decreased by 1 mL, test tube five had no HNO3 added to it. The addition of these solutions formed five test tubes of different dilutions, but of equal volume, 10 mL each. After all of the previous trials had been completed the final step was to take each test tube and pour it into a different cuvette and measure the absorbance for each. Once the initial concentration was calculated of Fe3+, NCS and FeNCS2+ in molarity.     According to Miller & Hollowell (2013) “Garnishments occur when a creditor is permitted to collect a debt by seeing property of the debtor (such as wages or funds in a bank account) that is being held by a third party (such as an employer or a bank). As a result of a garnishment proceeding, the debtor’s employer may be ordered by the court to turn over a portion of the debtor’s wages to pay the debt. In each state, the federal and state laws limit the amount that can be garnished from a debtors weekly pay that they take home. The federal law provides a minimal framework to protect debtors from losing all their income in order to pay judgment debts. The state laws provide dollar exemptions, and these amounts are often larger than those provided by the federal law. In every state, the federal and state laws can be joined together to help create sufficient funds that can help a debtor continue to live and provide for their families.
