1.0 Introduction Nowadays, the number of competition in business in developed countries is increase. As the competition is increase, they also facing a lot of challenges. One of them is the aging workforce. The aging workforce is people who still working at the age of 55 and older. According to Government Accountability Office (GAO) report issued, the number of workers that over age of 55 is increases significantly over the next 20 years. There are many reasons that make old people still want to work rather than retiring. Some of the reasons are they still need money. Although they have children that will take care of them, but some people doesn’t want to make their children too busy because of them. So, they decided to work to earn more money by themselves. Though many companies will pay more to older workers because they were more educated and have many experience. The other reason is they don’t like to just sit and sleep in their house. They prefer to spend their knowledge and experience to the company. Friendly workers also will wake the older worker still want to work because friendly workers make them attractive to stay in the labor force.
