Air pollution affects the health of people in a major way. The presence of carbon monoxide in the air we breathe causes headache nausea and suffocation. Tuberculosis, bronchitis and asthma are common in our country due to poor air quality. Dust in air causes asthma and allergies. In winter days fogs containing particulate matter causes bronchitis and cough.
A lot chemical industries such as manufacturing acids, plastics, dyes and paint, paper, pesticides, produce hazardous smells and gases such as sculpture dioxide, nitrogen oxides, hydrocarbons and fluorocarbons. Another way is to stop buying cars that use gas and buy electric or a hybrid which doesn’t take that much gas. When you do that it will suit people’s needs but even if no top notch car it will still satisfy your needs. We could also maintain air quality that we need for better air. But did you know transportation sources such as cars, trucks, buses, ships and trains account for 90% of the cancer risk associated with air pollution.
