If you're that type of person that wants attention and money than yes, fame and glory are worth seeking. If not, then no, don't go searching after fame and glory if it's not what makes you happy. Search for what makes you happy.
Disagree. Fame and glory don't always make you content especially if you have no one to share it with. There are also other goals worth pursueing.

However as Zamperini points out; “The difference between recognition and attention is self esteem.”(Zamperini 21) Do people seek attention or recognition? The key lies in whether the individual has self esteem, whether or not they feel worthy of positive attention. One can break the detrimental cycle of self loathing “through hard work and accomplishments” (21) as Zamperini notes. Everyone deserves the sense of bliss that accompanies high self-esteem, they just might have to work for…

To be successful is an accomplishment that is honorable and deserving of recognition, but when you are the strong hand in helping someone else achieve their dreams and life goals you have made an impression on the world that will perpetuate goodness for an endless amount of time. Self indulgence only lasts until we get weak or fail at something. Then we have nothing left to draw from. To promote someone other than ourselves is an accomplishment that will fill our soul with light and rejuvenation to be drawn upon endlessly. Spreading goodness and kindness becomes a continuous fountain of strength for our own…

The concept of Celebrity and Fame are ones that affect relationships both positively and negatively. Fame refers to the state of being known by many people, and Celebrity is the noun for a famous person. The experiences and perspectives of celebrities who have gone through the process of Fame have all had their relationships affected by their status both positively and negatively - whether it is a celebrity's relationship with corporations, the concept of Fame or their peers and rivals. This statement is supported by Brian Caswell's novel _Asturias,_ Jay Z and Justin Timberlake's song _Holy Grail,_ and Donna Rockwell's article _'Fame is a Dangerous Drug: a phenomenal glimpse of celebrity"_ all showcase these arguments with textual evidence. In brief, textual evidence have been provided to establish the implications Fame present on a celebrity's relationships.…

Only a scare amount of people are destined to be the President of the United States, to be astronauts, to be nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize, or to find a cure for a terminal disease. All of us are capable of significant accomplishments and achievements throughout each of our lives. As Mother Teresa or St. Teresa of Calcutta states this quote, “Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love,” it signifies extreme importance through society in which people accomplish things rather large or small; love is always present during the accomplishments not matter the size of the achievement. Not everyone is exposed, or afforded, the opportunity to do great things; whether fame, money, or motivation tend to get in the…

When you look someone rich or famous you automatically assume that they are successful. However, this is only an outward appearance. Most of the time these “famous” people are stressed way beyond what is noticed by the public. They are not truly happy because they are way too concerned with the way they live their lives since people are constantly watching their every move. The true meaning of success is to have “a good result, happy outcome” (“Success”). Estee Lauder once said, “I never dreamt about success, I worked for it.” Success is setting a personal goal and working hard toward it, and ultimately your hard work and dedication leads to a favorable outcome.…

In this competitive world, it almost seems indispensable for people to at least pursue one thing to survive. Does it mean that people all have to strive to accomplish something? Or does pursuing actually bring any enhancements or happiness to people’s lives? The answer might be very debatable because pursuing something might not be always ended with a great triumph or satisfaction. Nevertheless, Chris Gardner in the movie titled “Pursuit of Happyness” struggles to become a stock broker while going through troubles in his life and finally succeeds. Also, I as a student who wants to be a musician am now seeking the way to make my dream come true.
