In Anthem, the citizens there never really did anything outstanding or courageous. That is, until Equality 7-2521 came along and thought differently than anyone else. He discovered the light bulb and ran out into the Uncharted Forest when he was about to be punished for it. In “Of Altruism, Heroism and Nature’s Gifts in the Face of Terror”, the people on the plane also did something outstanding and courageous by standing up against the terrorists. “Of Altruism, Heroism and Nature’s Gifts in the Face of Terror” also relates to Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief since Percy risked his life to go out and save his mother. His friends also showed great courage and selflessness by helping Percy even though they didn’t really know his mother. Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief very much relates to “The Pursuit of Selflessness”, also. In the movie, Percy finds out what it means to be happy and how being selfless can help you achieve great happiness. If Percy was not selfless, then he would have never rescued his mother and would have stayed in a state of depression from the loss.
