An area that Amelia Earhart believed women should have equal rights as men was in science. She believed that this is truly something that women want to become part of their lives. In a speech she gave Earhart stated,“Although women have not yet taken full advantage of its use and benefits.”(Amelia Eahart) She was speaking out all of the opportunities women have been given a chance to use and are not truly paying attention to. In her speech, Earhary speaks of a new movement where women are beginning to discover completely new possibilities that will impact and benefit the future.
