American Airlines Mindfulness
This paper will provide an insight to how American Airlines is using mindfulness in the organization today. The company is taking large strives to become the best airline in the world with the best employees. This is a great concept the company is trying to achieve. American Airlines leadership team are providing many items to accomplish this goal.
American Airlines send out many different surveys to see what type of products the employees are considering. American Airlines then uses employees from different hubs into a focus group to discuss the information. This information is them analyzed, the top items are then taken into a focus group to see how the focus group thinks about the products they want to offer. Once the products are approved

All the items have been available to employees so they can receive yearly check-ups onsite at work during breaks or lunches. This take away the stress from the employee to worry about if they have completed their yearly check-ups. Most check-ups were completed in fifteen to thirty minutes. They have also been provided doctor on demand, which is a mobile app to see a physician from the comforts of their home or while on vacation. The company has paid for the for each employee first visit as an incentive to use the app. They offer overtime to employees, however there are contracts in place for the union worker that after they have worked so many hours that the company will pay them a day of rest to rest.
These items are being provide to increase healthy employees and to show the company cares for their staff. They are ensuring the staff has all the items that can be provided onsite or near by the office locations. This will help to decrease illness in the organization or catch an illness in the beginning stages. Employees will be more loyal to the company that cares for their well-being.
These are many reasons why American Airlines as a company are using mindfulness in the company to increase profits and make sure the employees are happy. Many meetings are being improved with WebEx, this program has many features that keep employee enthused with the meeting. Employees enjoying sharing large files quicker, there less stress and the company is as whole are being very productive in the
