American Dream essay The survey project consisted in asking 30 people about their opinions. The assumption made was who believed more in the American dream, teens or adults. We hypothesised that American adults would believe more in the American dream because they provide for their family and in certain situations they bring their families into the United States for a better chance at having a higher quality of life than in their original countries. We asked 30 people, 11 adults and 19 teenegers, 3 were african americans, 1 white and
26 hispanics. All the people show some kind of interest in the American dream, although they weren’t sure about what the American dream consisted of .
The first question asked was if they were born in the U.S and the 80% said yes and
20% say no, the majority that say yes, accept their believe in the American dream and how United States have have helped their throughout their lives, and the people who answer no had less credibility in the American dream because they had to face job struggles for not being citizens. we believe that we get that result because the majority of the people interviewed were teens and the majority of teens in the valley are born here because they parents came searching for job.

The second question ask was whether or not they believed that United States give opportunities to everyone and 68% said yes and 32% said no, revealing that United
States is a source of opportunities and aspiration to the majority of the people that believe in the American Dream , however, we can conclude that the people who were agree with it faced difficult circumstances, where United States was the only one who gave them a solution or benefit.
We ask in a scale 110 how familiar they were with the american dream and all of the people responded 5 and above. 36% answered 9, 32% 7, 28% 8, 12% 5 and the smallest one was 1% in 6 and 10 .

A life of freedom, equality, and opportunity, more commonly known as the American Dream, motivates people every day to achieve personal happiness and material comfort. John Winthrop, Judith Sargent Murray, and Ben Franklin encouraged this lifestyle by writing to the people of the United States explaining in their own way how this utopian lifestyle can be achieved. Winthrop’s “A Model of Christian Charity” was written on board the Arbella on the way to the Massachusetts Bay Colony. He inspired the people by saying that if they united in love, they would be blessed by God and have the power to impact the world. Murray’s “On the Equality of Sexes” sparked controversy as it shone a light on how women were treated in society and education. She is one of the first at the time to speak about the intelligence of women and the potential they could have if treated as equals to men. Franklin’s “The Way of Wealth” emphasizes the importance of thrift and warns against living a sloth-like life. The American Dream can be achieved through love, equality, and hard work.…
