For example, like mentioned earlier, America faced many unfair situations such as the US citizens dying by the Lusitania. Although Germany defended by stating that it was due to the US not being neutral, it was a foolish act that caused many to rethink about joining the war. Being killed or facing unfair treatment for no reason is unjust and needs action, thus, America did a good thing))))((( by joining the war. Due to the males of the family being drafted by the country, majority of the country was left with women and children. Children had to rely on their mother and themselves financially which changed(()) . For example, mothers would take over the jobs of males such as factory work and spend days in the factory trying to make money. This shows that from a country that once only relied in men, it (changed) developed into a country with woman that became self reliant and lead to more opportunities for females. As stated, woman gained many rights due to the men leaving for World War 1. The females showed that they are able to handle situations that men dealt with which caused many to believe that women deserve more rights. The United States passed the 19 Amendment to the United States constitution which gave women rights. Since, many of the men were drafted, the US changed their opinion of females which was beneficial to the children who were to grow up later and the women who now felt free. Lastly, the education of children changed. The change in their education was beneficial. Children were taught about wars and how Germany had bad relation with America.
