Amir's Character In The Kite Runner

Character what does it mean? Character means that it is what a person does when nobody is watching for some people they can approach this in the wrong manner, but in other instances a person can address it correctly. Amir's case he leaned more towards the incorrect way to approach things but he made baby steps throughout the book to be a better person on correcting his errors this can be shown when he took his time to head to pakistan, trying to act as a father figure for sohrab and then paying tribute to a fallen brother.
