Amir's Jealousy In The Kite Runner

Amir's father Baba and his servants, Hassan and his father lived together in Kabul.
Amir and Hassan are the same age and always say each other but never considered themselves friends.
Amir grew jealous of Hassan because he thought his father liked Hassan more than himself.
Hassan was raped by Assef, Although Amir witnessed it he was too afraid to get involved.
Baba coddled up to Hassan and gave him more attention than Amir because to this event
Amir was so full of jealousy that he framed Hassan for stealing, this led to Hassan and his father being kick out of the house.
Baba and Amir moved to California and began their lives, Amir grew up and got married and Baba lost his life to cancer.
Years later Baba’s friend Rahim Khan called and said
that Hassan and his family had been killed by the Taliban because they were Hazaras (More Asian appearance than afghan), but his son Sohrab was still alive and in an orphanage and that Hassan was actually Amir's half-brother.
Sohrab was taken by his new guardian Assef (the same person that raped), only until Amir and Sohrab were able to escape after a fight.
Amir took Sohrab back to America as his son, where they flew kites together, much the same as how Hassan and Amir used to when they lived in Kabul.
