The ATP-PC system for high intensity short bursts; the lactic acid system for intermediate bursts of longer distances, lasting about 90 seconds; and then finally the aerobic system for long efforts of low to moderate intensity. This position is using the ATP-PC system as she/he is standing still most the game, only moving in short bursts when they are catching/defending off the ball. Lastly there are the forwards. The job of these people is to score the goals. The forwards are most of the time moderate paced running/jogging or short sprints to get the ball to the goal. This is part of the lactic acid system.
