An Argumentative Essay On Snow Leopards

This animal may look harmless, but their teeth are sharp and they are fierce. The snow leopard is a kind of cat but not a cat you want to keep as a pet. Snow leopards are unique because they live differently. These animals eat only a few things. They also hunt differently. The snow leopard lives in the cold. They also can live somewhere where the snow is. But to be more specific they live in the high mountains of Central Asia. These animals has a long tail. Their tail protects them from the cold (Snow leopards 2004). Snow Leopards hunt differently than the other cats. As you know snow leopards live in the high mountains. They also get their food from the high mountains. Snow leopards do not hunt in a group. “They learn how to stalk and pounce
at a young age.” (Snow leopards 2004). These animals are endangered. Snow leopards keep on killing sheep and goats. People use sheep for their milk, wool,and,meat. That is why people are killing them. There is a range of 3,500 to 7,000 snow leopards that are killed (Guynup S. 2009). The snow leopard is an extremely interesting animal because not a lot of people know about them. People that live in the mountains need to be aware of the snow leopard food source. People need to stop killing snow leopards so other people can know more about the snow leopard.
