One of the reason history has shaped photographs today are the different ways we take pictures, as well as the quality of the image its self. Taking photographs now is a lot easier than it used to be. The history of photography allowed us to advance the equipment and add technology to the camera. Photographs can be more prominent and not have lines in the image or blurriness in a picture due to advancements people have made to the camera. Many people also take photographs to capture a moment and hold onto it forever. History has helped us understand better understand the historical moments that happened because of images that were taken. This film also explains the five elements to take a good picture, as well as better understanding different images as a whole. I never really understand the important of pictures, and I never realized how much a detail can throw an entire picture off until I took photography. I used to think that photos weren't that important until I actually had a deeper look into the meaning of a picture. They say a picture can speak a thousand words and I am now understanding what that actually means. Reading words can only paint a picture in your head and the image it paints in your head could be off, but physically seeing an image can give you a better assumption of what was happening in the picture as well as expressions and feelings that were being felt during that time.
