1. What is the basic narrative of Swan Lake?
Odette is a beautiful princess who has been cursed by an evil sorcerer, Von Rothbart. She’s transform into a sawn by day, and at night she gets back her human form.
The only way for the spell to be broken is by the power of eternal love between Odette and a young man who will remain faithful to her, for if the vow of eternal love is broken, she will remain a swan forever.
One day the Prince Siegfried was hunting in a lake, when sees Odette transform from her swan form into her human form. He falls in love with her and vows to love Odette for eternity.
Prince Siegfried is tricked by Odile, Rothbart’s daughter; she seduces him. He forgets about Odette and falls into the trap of Odile; this makes Odette remain under Rothbart’s spell.
Odette, disappointed, plans to kill herself. After forgiving the Seigfried, she throws herself to the lake. Siegfried kills Rothbart, breaking the spell on Odette and making her come back to life.

Siegfried: Flirty, cocky, but is a bit clueless and gullible, very innocent.
Odette: Delicate, innocent, shy, loving.
Odile: Flirtatious, bold and decisive, would do anything to accomplish her goal.
Von Rothbart: Representation of evil, jealous, hurts for pleasure.
The Mother: Representation of thought of social classes that still exist.
3. What made you describe them that way? How would you describe their movement in a way that would align with your sense of the character?
The natural movement of Seigfried at inviting and dancing with many ladies at the party gives it away as a flirt. Being the center of attention makes him to be a cockier prince. His innocence is notorious when falling in love with Odile dances.
Odette meanwhile seems to represent all that is good, delicate and fine movements are like a caress for
