Well here is two questions for this ethical situation. First, With all of these terrible tragedies occurring, should they publish another tragedy that is international and just pile up the hard times, but can stop the molesting? Or, wait and let these people have the one thing that can help them through tough times, church and faith, but at the same time allow this molesting to still occur? I think morally, the Boston Globe, saw these tough times and decided that they cannot take the church away from the people of a nation who has lost tons of loved ones and are on brink of a new war. I think they did the right thing by waiting but due to that even more kids were molested in those short few months. At the end of the movie, Rezendes goes to see Mitchell Garabedian and notices that Garabedian is working with two kids who were victims. Rezendes sits there and watches them. I assume he is rethinking the whole process and is thinking if they published earlier, those kids would be okay. That’s the thing about ethical situations, you don’t know what will or won’t happen.
