My Big Fat Greek Wedding, is a 2002 film, that portrays the main character, Toula Portokalos and the conflict that occurs after she decides to marry someone outside of her culture. In the film, Toula is the middle child of an immigrant family that proudly represents their Greek Heritage. The most prominent cultural belief is that Toula must marry a Grecian man.
