Linda takes ‘My Family’ book from the library and sits on the table. She looks at the cover page and says, “Family”. She turns page by page and looks at the pictures. She looks at a picture and says, “Papa, mama, baby” smilingly. Linda turns to the next page and says, “They play in water”. Looking at another page she smiles and points her finger to the cake and says, “Birthday”. While she reads the books she mentions, “Bicycle, bubbles. I like bubbles”. Once she finishes reading she keeps the book.
Linda was able to choose a book to read. She was able to describe the pictures in few words while reading. She enjoys reading the book till the end. She seemed happy when she saw bubbles and birthday family pictures. …show more content…
She brings the spout of the jug with water to the side of the opening of the left jug. She tilts the jug and pours water slowly in a continuous and steady manner. She looks at the first jug. She pours the water back into the first jug in the same way. She repeats the cycle few times. After her few attempts, she spills water in the tray while pouring. She speeds up her pouring skill and says, “Water spill”. She smiles and continues pouring from one jug into the other without spilling.
Linda was able to tilt the jug and pour the water out gradually into the other jug. In the same manner she poured the water back into the first jug. She held the empty jug in one hand and poured the water from the first jug in one hand. At first few attempts she poured water without spill. From the observations it shows that, Linda was able to pour water from one identical jug into another in a balanced manner without any complexity. She brings her head near the paper and smells. She smiles and says, “mmm…”. Teacher says, “Can you smell the lemon in the green paint?”. Linda replies, “Lemon!”. She creates circle, lines and taps the brush on the paper. She looks at Keeshav and says, “Banana!”. Keeshav smiles at her. When Zoey says, “I smell strawberry”, Linda looks at her and smiles. She places the brush and picks the brush from the red paint with her left hand. She paints over the green paint; a while later transfers the brush to her right hand and continues painting. She says, “Strawberry” and smells the brush. She creates lines over the green paint with the brush. When teacher says, “Your painting smells nice”, she replies, “Strawberry” and smells the paper.
