be having a hard time after he killed Ethan.
Episode 17: “…In translation”: The raft that Michel and some others where building was burned and destroyed completely. People accused Jin wrongly of having burned the boat, but his wife Sun speaks up in English and clears out the situation. At the end, we find out that the one that set the raft on fire was Michel son, Walt.
2. Episode 17 “…. In translation” was my favorite, I loved how the episode unraveled and how the character of Jin grew by finally detaching from Sun. Also, another thing that I noticed from Jin is that he portraits himself to others as a bad guy when he is actually a pretty kind person. The part of the episode that made me realize that is when he punches almost to dead the guy that worked for Suns fathers in order to save him from not being shot in from of his family. Another thing that caught my attention from the episode is how everyone has found new purpose and how they are beginning to adapt and accept their situation on the island.
3.
Locke: “Everyone gets a new life on this island, Shannon. Maybe it’s time for you to start yours.” I thought that these quote was interesting because is a breaking point and a realization for Shannon that she could start fresh on the island and that anything that she did before did not matter. Sayid: “You’re not alone. Don’t pretend to be” What caught my attention from this quote is the caring manner Sayid says it to Charlie and even though they having known each other for too long he cares and truly wants to help Charlie overcome and face his fears.
4. A character that caught my attention out of the set of episodes that I watch was Jin. His character is mysterious, introvert and does not know how to communicate his feelings. In addition, I consider that those traits are the fundamental reason of his problems. For example, when he punches a guy almost to death to save him from being shot. When he gets home to Sun, he does not explain to her what happened and she misunderstands the whole situations. Also, the way he acts in the begin of the series make us think that he is selfish when he is only trying to protect his loved one. We could see how his character starts to progress when he contributes by fishing and sharing it with the other on the camp. Furthermore, we could see Jin progression when he finally accepts that his relationship with Sun is broken and that is does not have a
future.
5. Why did Jin kept quit when Michel and the people on the camp accused him of burning the raft and did not fight back? Why did Sawyer held in and does not tell Jack that he met his father in Australia?
