Among the many problems that the company faces, the problem of the emerging market performance seems to affect the company greatly (Albanese, 2001). This problem arises as the company tries to penetrate and dominate new markets for its products. As the company puts up its efforts in penetrating the new markets, stiff competition from domestic players like Pepsi Cola has been in the rise too and this has had an effect in its market performance (Foster, 2014). The competitors are also finding a way to have their products dominate in the regions where coca-cola as a company is operating too. As such, the company has to up its competitive strategies by coming up with appropriate market strategies that will outsmart the products of its competitors in the same market.
