After his father fall asleep Christopher decides that he can’t live with his father anymore so he decides that he is going to run away to his mother. At the end of the book Christopher has a lot of accomplishments and he finds out his mother is not dead by using his detective work. He makes it to London all by himself by building up his courage and conquering his fears. Christopher also starts trusting his father again after everything that his father did. To Christopher this proves that he is brave enough to do anything he sets his mind
