The beginning of the documentary begins with explains the story of the life of Andrea. Andrea starts off the film explaining how she got to the University of North Carolina Chapel (UNC) Hill. She begins explaining how she was the valedictorian and how hard she worked to get herself to UNC. Andrea loved her experience at UNC till the day she was sexually assaulted. When Andrea reported what happened to her to her college campus they failed to provide resources for her. Since her school failed to help her she went and searched for help from her peers. Andrea started a facebook campaign speaking out about her sexual assault incident to educate other students on her campus.

This part of the film had a great amount of focus on Jameis Winston. A football all star at Florida State University. He was accused of sexually assaulting two female students will being a student at FSU and he was not punished for his actions. Instead he was praised by the faculty and other students of the university. The first claim came from a student Erika who did all the right work from the start and law enforcement failed to do anything. It broke my heart that we are taught to look at law enforcement for help and they were the first ones to let the girl
