festivals (Thompson). Being that Wenner is an unofficial historian of street painting, this makes him an expert on the topic (Thompson). In Los Angeles, California, Wenner worked with the Music Center to develop a 2-day school residency program that was designed to teach the children some lessons about art. For the first five years that the program started running, Wenner devoted 1 month a year to the project (“Kurt Wenner”). He also was invited to do several public lectures that are known as, “_Master Drawing, Perspective and Illusion, _and The Complete Pastel” as well as a lecturing as a “study guide for the Smithsonian’s Art and Culture of Italy Program” (“Kurt Wenner”). Wenner taught over an astounding 100,000 kids over a 10 year period (“Kurt Wenner”). Wenner seemed to have dabbled in almost every form of art. He had started out with paint, canvas, sidewalks, and murals. Eventually Wenner struck an interest in architecture, and began designing homes and buildings (“Kurt Wenner”). He also ended up putting his artwork into another form of art by creating many sculptures for clients (“Kurt Wenner”). Combining sculpting and architecture, allowed him to great multidimensional artwork (Wrenn, and Abraham). Wennereven got into decorative art and performed molding and casting. It was thrilling to him to finally be able to take his visions from two dimensions, and bring it into the three dimensional world (“Kurt Wenner”). Many people are left wondering what happens to the paintings?
Well, eventually they are washed away forever. All that is left of them are pictures that many have taken of them, and the memories of it. When Wenners paintings wash away, he thinks of it as the completion of his “artistic process” and only wishes that he could make it more ritualistic (Thompson).
