Their parts of government were a little similar to the one in Athens but not that alike, Spartans saw the elderly people as counselors or were called Gerousian. Everyone was a soldier and as soon as thirteen any kids were able to participate in the polis matters.This was a place where woman had more freedom and could get education instead of Athens where they didn't have as many privileges.
