Angela Harris Research Paper
As a Christian Counselor, Angela Harris uses the tools of the mental health profession, the truths of spirituality, and the wisdom of life experience to help those in need. Angela’s educational and professional experience has focused in the fields of psychology, theology and life skills development. She integrates mind, body and spirit with the intent to bring women and girls to wholeness with spirituality, self, and others.

Angela received a Bachelor of Science degree in Behavior and Social Science. She also holds a Masters of Arts degree, Cum Laude in Women's Studies and Christian Counseling. Angela has completed training and certification in the field of alternative wellness and nutritional and meal plan coaching.

She was awarded as outstanding mentor for the “We Are Empowered” mentoring program linking professional women as mentors to female students at American University. Angela was a featured author and speaker at the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation Legislative Conference in Washington, DC. She was a featured author at the Annual Red Carpet Showcase, recognizing rising authors sponsored by the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.

Angela is a member of many professional organizations including the University of Maryland Alumni Association. She is also a proud appointed member of the National Omicron-Psi Gold Honor Society which recognizes graduate students for their excellent academic achievements and service in their community.
Angela is the mother of two amazing daughters: Chanel who went to college at the age of 16 and is now a graduate student studying Forensic Psychology at George Washington University and Faith, an honor student in high school and a talented professionally trained ballet dancer.
In her spare time, Angela enjoys spending time with her lovely daughters, exercising, preparing nutritional meals and sharing laughter and inspirational conversations with her amazing

    Andrea Yates, born July 2, 1964 in Houston, Texas, was just another average American girl. She was a remarkable student and ended up being her class valedictorian at Milby High School in Houston. She went to college at the University of Huston for nursing and continued her education at the University of Texas, School of Nursing; she graduated in 1986. In 1993, she married Rusty Yates, a devout follower of Michael Peter Woroniecki’s teachings which communicated that if a mother didn’t bring her children up correctly, she and her children were doomed to hell.
