Animal extinction has been dramatically occurring and this is the biggest issue in the planet. The governments and scientists try to figure out the better ways to prevent and preserve the disappearance of animals. Human attitudes, degradation of nature and climate change are the causes that lead to animal extinction. I think that if these causes are still occurring without protection and preservation, the environment will become in less healthy state by 2050.
The world human population has been rapidly increasing, and it means that the human attitude is one of important reasons that leads to the extinction of species. As a consequence of the population growth, the demand and consumption are more and more rising. A lot of wilderness, forests and drained swamps are destroyed and exploited by the loggers, illegal people that don’t have any responsibilities and awareness of their actions. High buildings, industrial areas, factories, urban areas, transportation and houses are dramatically building to response human’s demands; therefore, the animals will lose their principal food supply or the space to live. Additionally, the problem of air pollution, water pollution or erosion of land will accelerate the imbalance in wildlife population and damage to ecosystem. They also degrade and destroy the environment as the nature habitat of animals. Furthermore, using chemicals is a cause of the disappearance of animals. Because the famers often use insecticides or toxic substances on their crops, the land and water are poisoned. For example, DTT which is used to eradicate mosquitoes and agricultural pests (from the chapter 4 in the Impression II) is one kind of insecticides. Besides the benefits of DTT, it especially kills indiscriminately everything such as bacteria, beneficial insects or animals.
