Social Media should not allow users under the age of 18. I disagree, Social Media should allow users under the age of 18. Your question to me is why? Well, I have a few reasons on why should they allow user under age. My first reason is because many users have the time to talk to their friends and they can communicate. My second reason is that many users are just nosy and want to see what is going on around the world. My third reason is that many users like to chat and meet new people, or even if their parents don't allow them to talk to their aunties or cousins they can communicate with that person on social media. Having Social Media is a big help to kids when they really want to talk to people they might know.…

In the past, we and our minors have been familiarized with the issue of bullying at schools, workplaces, and other populated settings. However the calamity has never stopped growing and has spread to an even more adaptable environment, the Internet, specifically social networking sites Surveys by bullyingstatistics.org indicate that over 50% of adolescents have been cyber bullied, 10 to 20% are cyber bullied routinely. Consumer Reports has reported one million minors to have been cyber bullied on a social networking site just last year. It is not merely frequency we should be concerned about but also the severity of the consequences. The National Crime Prevention Council disclosed that victims of cyber bullying will most often experience a drastic deterioration in academic performance and self-esteem as well as depression and even suicide. Efforts to amend this situation are insufficient and for the most part barren, seeing as only one in ten victims will report being cyber bullied to their parents or guardians, and only roughly 7% of American parents are concerned at all regarding online bullying. Cyber bullying and its vicious nature will continue to be a normality as long as there is social media.…

Bullying in society is seen as a minor thing. Bullying is made into something humorous through movies, songs, television, and stereotyping. Therefore, teenagers can be misled about the real devastation bullying can have on their classmates. It is more than short-term hurt feelings; it can be psychological and physical scarring that could potentially last the victim a lifetime. According to the American Society of Positive Care for Children’s website, “about 28 percent of students aged 12-18 reported being bullied at school during the school year” (Bullying Statistics and Information). This means almost one-third of students are dealing with this widespread dilemma, and it is only getting worse with more outlets for bullying such as social networking and easier access to the internet than ever before. Bullying in all forms is a threat to teenagers and can have serious or even deadly consequences to its…

Animals should not be in zoos because it takes animals from their natural habitat, they are not always treated well, and putting them in a zoo can interfere with their natural instincts. Zoos don't provide the space that is needed for that type of animal, so instead they are cramped up in a little cage. They also don't get to do what they want, because the zoo owners are always are telling them what to do.…

Many teenagers love social media because of its wide connectivity and function that people can receive it for free; it does not require money to make an account and use it. Facebook is the most visible among various social media. What’s impressive about this site is that you can easily connect with your long lost friends and see how they’re doing, or vice versa. You can also make new friends in Facebook. Though this could get addictive and may divert our attention away from the real world. Like what Cornell University’s Steven Strogatz said; “Social media sites can make it more difficult for us to distinguish between meaningful relationships we foster in the real world, and the numerous casual relationships formed through social media.” I strongly agree with this statement. Also, people become a whole new person, because it’s the Internet. People can be anything or anyone in the Internet.…

fffffFacebook should be banned.for people under the age of 18, for children under the.age of 18 are known to cyber bully, leaving children depressed, which could lead to suicide. Children also veiw explict content on fan pages another reason i think facebook should be banned is because children accept random peoples friend requests, with them not knowing that behind the screen cpuld be somebody as twisted as a phedophile. children play gamesbon facebook filled with spammers, hackers, and viruses, and waste energy which could be used for something useful to the earth, such as paying for new inventions to cure cancer, diabetes, etc. Facebook is becoming overly addictive to young children, and they make fake accpunts, which is illegal. They also conjur up large amounts of drama, and the children can easily lie about their age. These are the reason why i think facebok should be banned. Facebook is rubbish, never works, no privacy & full of virus pages. I don't think it should be ban, what people do with their free time is their own choice...might suggest people have too much free time but I who knows? perhaps this is just another phase like all the other social networking sites that have been and gone. Im sure the day when going out actually becomes more affordable then people won't use it as much, but what do i know?…
