Anne Frank is someone who influenced history long after she was gone, because of her courage, bravery, and willpower that got here and her family through the tough times up until they were seized. Though Anne died at age fifteen in one of the camps, we still see her today as such an accepting human being throughout her life. In one of her very last entries Anne stated, “In spite of everything, I still believe that people are really good at heart.” This entry proves her beliefs beyond measure that all humans are good people and mean for the best in their own lives. This statement alone expresses everything people need to know about Anne and who she was as a person this shows a maturity level way beyond her years as a young girl of only thirteen…

The time during the Holocaust brought the Frank family much difficulties. They had to be fearful about everything. They were always scared of being caught by the Gestapo. They had to be careful about what they were doing and how loud they were talking. They were always scared of what would happen if someone knew where they were living. While they were living in the Annex they couldn’t do much as I had mentioned. They didn’t have normal dinners or normal clothes like other normal families had. In the secret annex there was a tight schedule. The Annex was located in an empty section of the builing that Mr. Frank worked in.…

In frightening situations such as witnessing a crime and saving a life, ordinary people often perform heroic actions far beyond their normal capabilities. To begin with, the action doesn’t have to be the superhero stereotypical story. “When we quit thinking primarily about ourselves and our own self-preservation, we undergo a truly heroic transformation of consciousness.” – Joseph Campbell. This means that in any situation where you put another person before yourself you are being heroic in a way. Or maybe you just performed a random act of kindness for someone for no reason at all. A hero should also be positive and strong. In Hackett and Goodrich’s play The Diary of Anne Frank, the theme of heroism is illustrated by Miep, Mr. Kraler, and Anne.…
