My research topic is steroid use. And the effects both negative and positive on the body and mind. I don’t have a certain age I am targeting just general use by all people. I personally feel steroids if used properly can benefit many people. Especially males over twenty five whose testosterone levels drop significantly as they get older. Steroids can be used to help maintain these levels as well as aid in keep in good shape which can be beneficial for certain jobs you may work as you get older. Most of the negativity surrounding steroid use is dealing with those who abuse the drug.

This article more deals with the chemical makeup of steroids and what it does to your body and how it works. This article was very helpful in detailing the effects steroids can have on your internal organs and not so much what it does for your outward appearance. This source more focuses on the strong negative aspect of steroid use and more focuses on the harms of adolescent use or overuse of steroids. It profiles younger people and their use of steroids and their subsequent demise due to their steroid use. This source would fall on the con side of my argument. This source was written in the Houston chronicle and the author is in the process of writing a book about adolescent steroid use and its effects. I feel Mr. Kashatus is a very credible author for obvious
