This character and I share some similarities according to our appearance and what surrounds us. Antigone is often portrayed as having brown hair and blue eyes. In the days of the ancient Greeks, it was found that the recurrent body type among women was the curvier look. One of the main settings of the play is inside Creon's home, which is depicted as a very dark, dreary place. With me, I also have brown hair and blue eyes; as well as the more curvy body type. Antigone is seen as a strong, valiant woman. People seem to go to her when they are in need of help, and always does what the character believes is right. For example, Antigone herself says "I am only doing what I must."(Prolog.73). She feels that she deserves the selfsame rights as anyone else.
