Antonin Scalia began his legal career at the law offices of Jones, Day in Cleveland, Ohio in 1961. He was highly respected as a lawyer and would likely have made a good one, but he wanted to teach like his father. In 1967, he took a professor position at the University of Virginia Law School and moved his family to Charlottesville, Virginia.
As a Supreme Court Justice, Antonin Scalia is considered one of the more prominent legal thinkers of his generation. He is a republican and is very well known as being very conservative person and known in the supreme court as being very repetitive and insulting. In a way it seems that he demands respect. Today he’s also known as the conservative anchor of the Supreme Court and also has grown to be one of the most popular judges thanks to the media and other things. They also say how Scalia asks the most questions and talks the most out of every one that is on the bench. Meaning he is a demanding and leader.
Most of his strengths are mainly come from his education and his leadership qualities. He always has his own opinion and always wants to be first and always wants it his way. But some of his weaknesses are that he sometimes let his republican and conservative mind make his decision rather than making the right decision because it’s just constitutionally correct, even though he says he is all for the people and making sure everything is held within the constitution. His perception of himself isn’t exactly what he his.
