ANZ Bank is among the top four corporate banks in Australia. With diverse and wide expansion of market the bank has developed the multicultural environment to support the employees and customers based on their ANZ values. Organizational culture on the ANZ’s view is to focus on the employees and customer’s values and molding according to employees and customer’s demand. Organization culture is a set of value, norms, standards for behavior and shared expectations that influence the ways in which individual, groups and teams interact with each other and cooperate to achieve organizational goals (Waddell, Jones & George, 2011, p. 85). An organization’s culture is long term pool of the life experiences each employee brings to the organization. Culture is highly influenced by the organization’s founder, executives, and other managerial staff because of their role in decision making and strategic direction. This essay will generally focus on dominant values of ANZ Bank, philosophy, organizational climate, cultural transformation and managing the change of ANZ Bank.
Dominant values of organization describe the way organization presents in front of employees and customer and its serving style. ANZ bank believes that they highly valued their customer and employees and put them ahead of everything. Their values are a shared understanding of what they stand for as organization and are applied by all employees across their region.
