Ap Literature Reflection

Last summer I was training for cheer competitions while also trying to prep for my AP Literature course. I spent hours at school practicing cheers, stunting, conditioning, keeping a book by my side the whole time. I annotated works of literature at cheer camp, and spent my vacation at Las Vegas inside hotel wrapped up in the new worlds I was discovering. This summer I took classes, long hours and stressful nights but I got what I needed to get done, done. I slept over at friends’ houses, watched horrible 90’s romances, while stuffing our faces with candy and eating fruit bowls. We talked about our futures, and crushes. I worked hard over my summers but I still made time to be a teenager and have my version of
“fun”.
