When one thinks about Apple what comes to mind is simple elegant, sophisticated, advanced and user friendly. Now the question here is whether the same kind of image apple portrays when it is the question of how they treat their employees who are contributing to the company’s success. No doubt these unique feature of simplicity and advanced technology has played to the success of Apple but one shouldn’t forget that it wasn’t possible without the effort of its employees. Steve jobs talked a lot about Apple’s focus on creativity, innovation and passion but one more important factor that adds to apple’s success is the hard working company employees that sailed Apple through.

Apple earlier also faced protest on issues like unpaid time spent standing in line for security checks. A lot of time was wasted in security checks which was not required. Apple has installed cctv cameras everywhere at the workplace. After capturing everything in the cctv camera, this long and time consuming activity of security check was redundant. A lot of time of the workers was wasted and they were not even paid for the same. Also apple prevented their engineers to join companies of their competitor which was another point of protest in the law suit filed by the employees. This class action case came when Apple is facing other lawsuits from its employees. Another law suit was filed regarding retail store employees having to undergo two mandatory bag searches per day. The employees claim that after they clocked out, they had to stand in line for up to 30 minutes while store managers ensured they weren't smuggling home stolen goods -- thus depriving them of hours of unpaid wages.
