For example, when the characters had a chance to fit in with a group of people they forgot about it and went on to be themselves. In conclusion, both April and Hercules’s journeys were alike. One way was that both people did not give up on the journey to try to find their true identity. Another way both characters are alike was when they both wanted to stop trying to find their identity and give up. Finally, one last way that both April and Hercules are alike is that both people had a time where they heard something that inspired them even more to go and find their identity.
Although, both April and Hercules have their differences.
April’s journey is different than Hercules’s journey because when April walks by people they do not run away from her being all scared because they think that she will screw anything up. On the other side, Hercules has a hard time because when he is being his own identity, everyone runs away from him. When they run away it causes Hercules to try to be what he is not. In conclusion, both April and Hercules have their differences in many ways. One example would be that Hercules states that he will go anywhere that he is welcomed. Unlike April, when in her story she is just trying to figure out who she is personally or truly. She is not trying to go where she will fit in. Another way the two are not alike is when April tries to take her mask off that is covering up her true identity. Hercules is just trying to prove to other people that he can fit
in.
Students could learn a lot by watching April and Hercules try to find their true identity. One thing that they could learn is to never try to fit in with people who are not like you and just be yourself. Another thing you could learn is to not categorize people based on what they look like, how they act, or even what their friends are like.
