Arabian Horse Research Paper
You see an animal galloping towards you .It runs with four hooves while its hair flies with the wind you glance at its glimmering beauty and can't keep your eyes off it. You wonder what is this animal?
Then it comes close to you and, you release its a horse and not any normal horse .It's an Arabian,The Arabian horse known all around the world and throughout history for its strong characteristics .
The Arabian horse is one of the oldest breeds of horses in history .The origin is unknown but Their ancestors most likely originated from south Saudi, Turkey,and Syria. It was the first horse to be documented .The Arabian lead its genus to the horse that we know today as the thoroughbred horse,American Quarter horse and more.The Arabian horse is known for it speed and strength .As it was shown to live in the harsh desserts.
The Arabian horse was very important for bedouin survival.Bedouin are noble tribes of Arabia .The bedouin would move constantly .They would conquer one place to another they need a strong animal that would help them achieve their ambitions.The Arabian horse was perfect for the job .They had camels which were patented and strong as well .However ,Arabian Horse was known to the bedouin as the war horse .They were used to fight between tribes .Their speed and endurance were perfect traits for the war horse.These specific …show more content…

Bedouin taught their horse obedience .A bedouin Rider would only choose his horse after testing it .He ties his horses for 3 days without food .After three days when the horses are exhausted from the heat and nearly falling to the ground.Then the owner places all types of goods from dates to milk on top of the hill .He stands next to the horses and unravels the rope.The horse has the choice to run to the goods and forgets its owner or stay next to its owner.Then horses will run and the loyal will stay .The horse that stayed by its owner's side will be cherished and valued for its loyalty.
Loyalty is an important feature of the breed.As is a dished face ,arched neck,and wide-set eyes that enable the horse to see nearly 360degress at one time.This breed may be black,chestnut,and gray sometimes you can find white markings on its face or legs.
Arabian horses were introduced to the Europe by Christian crusaders coming from the east .They brought Arabian horses with them to their homeland.They proved them with excellent military horses and were treasured and carefully treated.
In 1715 the Arabian horse was imported to North America.George Washinton owned two Arabian horses .In 1893,Turkey presented 45 Arabian horses to the Chicago world's fair .The horses made a strong impression and Arabian horses have been popular ever since .Circular ever light horse has been influenced by the Arabian horses.They are renowned for their intelligence ,affection,endurance,and
beauty.
Arabian are now valued bred all over the world.With major centers in the U.S.A ,Germany,England,Eygpt ,and Saudi Arabia.They are horses that adopt to different activities which help them show racing competitions and more.
