Argument Expectations Of Yeshua's 'Feast Of Trumpets'
On this Feast of Trumpets (Day of Remembrance), we ought to look forward with the jubilant expectation of Yeshua's (Jesus's) soon return to take us to our heavenly home. Each of the first four Feasts of the LORD pointed to the First Coming of our Lord and Savior. Moreover, we know that Yeshua fulfilled each of the first four Feasts on the actual Feast days. Now, since the remaining three Feasts all point to His soon return, it's only logical to conclude that Yeshua will fulfill each of these Feasts on the actual Feast days. Though we cannot be dogmatic about it, the preponderance of Scriptural evidence suggests that the Rapture is most likely to occur during the Feast of Trumpets. It excites me to think that maybe, just maybe this will be the

Though there are three different accounts of the Lord’s Last Supper in the bible—written by Matthew, Luke, and John—each record share common threads. Specifically speaking, the scriptures all express Jesus’ desire for people to, through the symbols of bread and wine, receive his body and blood in remembrance of him. In other words, through this symbolic and orderly process, all accounts show that Jesus wants his followers to remember the sacrifice he made: die on the cross to pay for mankind’s sins. Ultimately, I found these accounts to show Jesus suggesting a redemptive nature of his death.…

“After these things”, after what things you ask? After a dialogue crammed tight with principles for the seven churches. John, had been transported to heaven through an open door. In heaven John received a revelation of “things which must be hereafter”. Hence, in considering Revelation 4, it’s revealed that all believers in Jesus Christ will be taken out of this world at the culmination of the church age described in the epic event called “The Rapture”. John is called up. In addition, I accept as true the calling up as symbolic of the Rapture. Paul declares in 1 Thessalonians 4:17 that believes shall be caught up in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. This word "caught up" comes from a Greek word, harpazo, (har-pad-zo) which means to "seize…

This idea of a two-part rapture quickly circulated the newly-charismatic Scotland, and was eventually picked up by one John Nelson Darby, a man who would go one to be a figurehead of pre- tribulationism. Darby’s support of a pre-trib rapture would ultimately serve to perpetuate the misconception long after his death. Dave MacPherson, an author and specialist in rapture theology, writes in his book The Unbelievable Pre-Trib Origin: “Darbyist dispensationalism was injected into the Scofield Reference Bible (1909), which has done much in this present century to further the idea of a two- stage, Pre-Trib rapture.” (MacPherson, 44). With an acclaimed reference Bible now supporting the rapture, this bit of theology became popular opinion and widely circulated within Christian communities.…

    Analysis of Saint Judas

Saint Judas was written by James Wright at the end of the 60s. Considering the format this poem can be regarded as a traditional Petrarchan sonnet with a rhyme of ababcdcdefgefg; however, the content of this poem and the way it was written is different. In this poem James Wright tried to mix the dramatic monologue with the Petrarchan sonnet, which is usually written in poet’s tone. Instead in this poem, the speaker is Judas: this enables the revealing of his thoughts and actions directly to the reader, so as to enhance his temperament and character.…

The Garden of Earthly Delights painted by Hieronymus Bosch is a triptych painted with oil on panel during the Northern Renaissance time period. Master Hieronymus Bosch painted this between (1480–1515). The Garden of Earthly Delights measures about 13 feet by 7 feet when all three panels are open. This painting is housed in the Museo Del Prado in Madrid since 1939. Another triptych painting with the more traditional values for atriptych altarpiece is The Raising of The Cross by Peter Paul Rubens. This painting is from Flemish baroque time period and was painted during (1610-1611). Each are respectfully different in there on specific ways. The reason I have chosen to compare these paintings is because they are similar in the sense of both being triptychs but are respectfully different in there own ways. These paintingsare each very meaningful triptychs but they are painted in there own theme, and technique, and each have significancesubject matter within each other.…

Rituals and festivals have been parts of traditional European life for many centuries. They included all social classes, religions, and occurred in many areas across Europe. For example, festivals have been used as a way to vent out stress and express one’s self. Rituals as well help support the understanding of social classes. Some rituals like charivari could take place at any time that helped construct order around Europe by public humiliation and torture. In the article "Days of the Martyrs" By Jeffery L. Sheler it tells up why Christian communities where prosecuted just because of there beliefs. By the second century Christian numbers started to drop drastically mostly because of the persecution by the government authorities. These government authorities where concerned of the out lawed movement of "Atheist." Atheists were Christians that rejected Rome's pagan pantheon and decided to worship one invisible god. At the time when the persecutions of Christians started to begin the emperor of Rome was Nero, and Nero was somewhat behind it all. For example, In A.D 64, Emperor Nero started a fire that devastated Rome then put all the blame on the Christians so that he could kill many of them. During about A.D. 111, the emperor of Rome was now emperor Trajan. During emperor Trajan’s rule the persecution of Christians became much more infrequent. Emperor Trajan did no longer go out of his way to kill some innocent people. Just because he didn’t try to kill every Christian he sees doesn’t mean he didn’t kill them at all, if any Christian was charged and convicted the were to be executed unless…

I chose “The Drummer Boy of Shiloh” by Ray Bradbury. The theme of this story is the boy overcoming fears about the battle. Conflict, resolution, characters’ dialogue, and behavior all contribute to the story’s theme because it affects the mood or the scene around the “bloody battle”. ”Beyond the thirty-three familiar shadow forty thousand men, exhausted by nervous expectation and unable to sleep for romantic dreams of battles yet unfought, lay crazily askew in their uniforms”. The behavior of these men tells me they have fears about the upcoming battle. In the dialogue it says, “Few parents were willing to send their young sons to battle” this changes the behavior of the boy because he knows it is very dangerous. The conflict is between him…

Throughout the Bible, the provisions of our ketubah are laid out for us. The Bible states the bride price, the promises of the bridegroom, and the rights of the bride. Our bridegroom Jesus promised to provide food, clothing, necessities, and whatever we asked in His name. In addition to the previous gifts, there is the giftings of the Holy Spirit, such as righteousness, grace, wisdom, and faith. Baptism is a cleansing ritual, just like mikveh. Both are symbolic of leaving an old way of life, and entering into a new way of life. When an ancient Jewish bridegroom would have left to go prepare a place for his bride; it was an understood Jewish custom that it was his duty to prepare for the eventual wedding. An ancient Jewish bridegroom would not have known when his father would say that the new chamber or room was ready, and that it was time to go, and snatch up, that is to say, rapture his bride. He would have continued to work on the place until his father said it was ready. Got to remember that Jesus was a carpenter! Was his trade here on Earth coincidental? I don't know, but I can't wait to see what he has prepared for those that love…
