For years, thousand of immigrants have come from many different countries. Many of them coming for various of different reasons; opportunity, poverty, refugee, prosecution, etc. Immigration has been a controversial topic for the last few years. It has evolved throughout the years; many good changes have been made and many bad ones have arisen. Americans and immigrants at some point desegregated and become one big community. Up until the upcoming elections immigrants were targeted due to the recent national security problems. During the election society's view on immigrants seem to change drastically from one day to the next. Just a year ago America was very cohesive, everyone work side by side without a problem, everyone agreed that “it was not matter of principle. The newest orders have caused multiple issued in that now the authorities are forced to tear families by virtue of a piece of paper signed by the president; “ the laws seem to have taken away from Americans the right to exercise their freedom to be humanitarian” (Carr). Other issues that have arised is that many men and women are being deported causing children to be left without someone to care for them. Also if the head of the household is deported America leave families financially unstable, jeopardizing the family's future.
